Katie Shires

Having started her legal career in 2007 as an office junior at Kevills Solicitors in Chorley, Katie has since gained extensive experience as a Chartered Legal Executive, having worked at a number of law firms across the region, most recently at Vincents Solicitors in Penwortham. She joined WHN in June 2024.

In her role based at WHN’s Great Harwood office, Katie services our clients across the wider Blackburn area. This involves seeing clients both in the office and visiting them at home, and advising on areas including drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Applications (COPs), as well as the administration of estates and probate.

Katie has an honours degree in law from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018. She is also an Accredited Member of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly).
