Lancashire and Greater Manchester businesses targeting growth are urged to attend a workshop led by commercial law experts.
The free legal workshop, held by Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, will take place on Friday, November 27 from 3pm at The Village Hotel, Waterfold Business Park, Bury.
The event aims to help business owners who are unaware of how to deal with the growing pains that could halt recovery and stifle growth potential.
The firm’s commercial partners will deliver their top tips and expert guidance on keeping the cash flowing, easing the transition between business premises, dealing with internal partnership and shareholder disputes, recruiting and retaining the right people (and removing the wrong people), and ensuring watertight business contracts are in place.
Michael Shroot, head of commercial law at Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, said: “The practical workshop will cover the key legal issues which give firms a great foundation for sustainable and profitable growth.
“It means business owners will be able to focus on moving their business forward without being bogged down by the growing pains that naturally come with expansion.”
Guests will be guided on:
- Avoiding bad debt, legalities of debt recovery and maintaining a positive cash flow;
- Dealing with breach of contract issues, shareholders and director disputes, as well as dispute prevention;
- What to look out for when moving out of old premises and entering into new lease agreements.
Why not stay a little longer and network until 6pm at thebestofbury’s ‘TEAM’ event at the Victory Pub? A great way to finish the week with discount cards given to all attendees for 20% off all food and drinks.
