WHN Solicitors has appointed an experienced HR professional as our first head of people and culture to support its continued growth across the North West.
Kay Jackson-Leigh brings over 15 years’ senior experience, predominantly in the legal sector.
She takes on a senior position, heading up the firm’s people and culture strategy. This includes shaping our approach to recruitment and retention, developing new employee engagement initiatives to ensure inclusion in key decisions as well as expanding WHN’s development and training programme.
Kay will also focus on ensuring WHN’s workplace culture reflects its core values of client-first service, integrity, inclusivity, excellence and innovation, as well as communicating this culture both internally and externally.

Kay holds a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management from Salford University and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
She also completed an Executive Mini MBA with the London School of Business and Finance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
