WHN’s Blackburn office joined over five million people across the UK to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a special coffee morning.
The event, part of Macmillan’s World Biggest Coffee Morning campaign, raised £100 for the charity.
The team invited local businesses and members of the public to join them for coffee and delicious cakes, all handmade by WHN employees.
Karen Reid, Chartered Legal Executive from WHN’s family law team, said: “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is about bringing the community together to raise money for a great charity.
“We are committed to doing our bit and look forward to future fundraising activities here in Blackburn and across all our offices.”
Statistics show that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer and Macmillan works tirelessly to support sufferers and their families through an extremely difficult time. Last year’s national event raised over £20million across the UK.
