Property law experts secure national recognition

WHN has been re-accredited for a fourth consecutive year under the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme – the quality mark for legal experts in buying or selling property.

The Conveyancing Quality Scheme, supported by some of the UK’s biggest financial lenders, requires legal firms to undergo rigorous examinations to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills to provide quality conveyancing advice to homebuyers.

The process requires professionals to adhere to all good practice management standards and in order to uphold the membership, firms are required to undergo a strict assessment, training, audits and annual reviews to satisfy the Law Society that they provide a service and knowledge required under the scheme.

WHN’s placement on the nationally-recognised scheme demonstrates its commitment to client care services, efficient case management, cost efficiency and a minimum risk service.

Graham Ireland, partner at WHN and head of conveyancing, commented: “With interest rates still low and lenders remaining flexible, the housing market is booming. Sadly some people tend to look no further than cost when looking for a conveyancer.

This is a quality mark given only to law firms who are able to demonstrate a high quality standard in client care and expertise and our clients can be assured that they are dealing with the experts when it comes to handling deeds and drafting contracts, right through to completion of transactions.”
