A Greater Manchester and Lancashire law firm has secured the prestigious national Law Society’s quality mark, Lexcel.
Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall’s placement on the nationally-recognised scheme demonstrates its commitment to client care services, efficient case management, cost efficiency and a minimum risk service.
To gain and retain Lexcel accreditation, Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, which has offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, was required to go through a rigorous application and assessment process. This included conducting background checks and an on-site visit from an experienced, trained Lexcel assessor.
The process ensures professionals adhere to all good practice management standards and in order to uphold the membership, practices are required to undergo strict reviews, training and audits to evidence commitment to the scheme.
David Connor, partner at Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall commented: “The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to firms which meet the highest management and customer care standards.
“Our recent merger gave us an opportunity to utilise our vast history in offering expert legal services and the standard assures our clients that the way we manage the firm has their interests at heart.”
Nicholas Fluck, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “The Lexcel practice management scheme continues to go from strength to strength assisting firms like Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall to differentiate itself in a competitive and crowded marketplace.
“Lexcel accreditation gives clients assurance that a practice meets the highest client care and business management standards.”
