Staff at our Bury office staged a food bank collection on behalf of a Radcliffe based charity.
Porch Boxes use donated goods to make up “crisis packs” containing non-perishable food and toiletries for vulnerable individuals in the Bury and Radcliffe areas.
The charity provides around 200 parcels each month to agencies working with people who have little or no access to emergency food.
Recipients include lone parent families, vulnerable or abused individuals in temporary housing or hostel accommodation, teen mothers in special need, the homeless and people tackling illness, disability or addition.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “We’d like to thank the staff for their kind donations. We are heavily reliant on the generosity of local companies and greatly appreciate their support.”
