A leading Bury law firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of two young aspiring legal professionals.
Amy Richardson and Hayley Wharton join Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, based on Manchester Road, as trainee solicitor and paralegal.
WHN has recruited the talented duo in a move which supports the firm’s strategic growth programme.
Amy Richardson, who is from Ramsbottom, has secured a training contract with the firm and will work closely with partners in the specialist commercial law department. Amy completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Manchester and the 24 year-old is also completing a professional skills course at the University of Law, Manchester as part of the qualifying process.
The role will see Amy handle employment law, dispute and debt recovery matters, as well as assisting the firm’s solicitors with complex commercial law issues.
Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall has also bolstered its Bury team with the appointment of Hayley Wharton, who joins the firm as a paralegal after graduating with a degree in law from the University of Central Lancashire.
The 23 year-old, who is from Rossendale, will work in the company’s private litigation department and advise clients on housing and general litigation matters, including consumer, Will, land and contractual disputes.
