Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall is throwing its weight behind a charity drive to raise funds for Rossendale Hospice.
The law firm has pledged to waiver its legal services as part of ‘Make a Will Fortnight’ encouraging clients to donate the fee to the Hospice instead.
Those who have not yet written a will, or require updates to an existing one can take advantage of the campaign which runs from March 17-19.
Partner and Head of the Private Client Department at Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, Stephen Parr, commented: “Everyone wants to ensure their loved ones are looked after when they are gone, yet more than two thirds of people in East Lancashire don’t have a valid will in place.
“That’s why we’re offering local people the opportunity to get their affairs in order this month– while providing much needed funds for Rossendale Hospice.”
Rossendale Hospice aims to improve quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses, through expert nursing care, compassion, understanding and emotional and spiritual support. It relies heavily upon the support of local businesses and community fundraising to allow it to meet ever increasing running costs and the delivery of specialist care.
